ABOUT SAM

My name is Sam Walker-Arends and I am a Dog Trainer and Canine Behaviour Practitioner ISCP.Dip.Canine.Prac. I am based in Gilston, Harlow in the CM20 area.

I am a Separation Anxiety Pro Trainer having graduated in 2022 from the Julie Naismith Programme.

I am also an approved KAD trainer (Kids Around Dogs)

I have a compassionate approach to my work with dogs and only use force free and science based training methods. My aim is to improve the lives of dogs and their humans and to help

build a wonderful relationship between them based on trust and respect.

I am the proud dog Mum to Ivy the Rescue Greyhound and Reyna the Rescue Galgo who fulfil my life immensely - even if they spend most of the time asleep!

GROUP PUPPY CLASSES

These are held on Tuesday evenings at Eastwick and Gilston Village Hall.

Over the course we cover a range of 'life skills' training as well as common issues that may arise such as teething, toilet training and nutrition.

This course is suitable for vaccinated puppies 6 months and under at the start of the course.

1:1 PUPPY TRAINING

Pricing for in person sessions -

£70 a session/hour or £180 for block on 3 sessions.

I offer online services where I will help guide you in the same way I would in a face to face setting.

Sessions Via Zoom with email support and a behavioural support plan.

£60 a session/hour.

SEPARATION ANXIETY SUPPORT

I offer both 4 and 8 weeks support packages for dogs with Separation Anxiety.

My 4 week package is an investment of £400. For this price you receive -

*A 75 minute initial consultation

* A further 3 thirty minute video check ins

* Daily training plans

* Whatsapp support and cheerleading!

* I can watch video footage and to monitor your dogs body language

* Access to the Julie Naismith Training App (this is very user friendly and a great way to work through your training plans)

My 8 week package is an investment of £650. For this price you will receive -

*A 75 minute initial consultation

* A further 3 thirty minute video check ins

* A 60 minute consultation on week 8 to help set you up for the future

* Daily training plans

* Whatsapp support and cheerleading!

* I can watch video footage and to monitor your dogs body language

* Access to the Julie Naismith Training App

SUNDAY SOCIAL WALKS

Come join the pack and walk with us! :)

I run social walks every Sunday 9.30am-10.30am from Newground Cafe, Harlow.

These are on lead walks and are particularly useful for nervous or reactive dogs who could benefit from walking with a small group of semi regular dogs in a calm and friendly environment

PRE-RESCUE DOG CONSULTATION

£50 for a consultation to help prepare for life with a Dog. This is especially handy for first time dog owners to give them the tools to build a fantastic relationship with the new addition to the family!
